Video

January 2012. Time Lapse Images of Citrus Rootstock. This work is being done with Dr. James Syvertsen of the Citrus Research and Education Center at the University of Florida as part of an investigation into Huanglongbing (HLB, Citrus Greening) in Florida.

Eight plants were started from seed in November 2010 and transplanted into our one meter deep containers November 2011. Four Plants are of the rootstock variety Carrizo (CRECCZ) and four are of the rootstock Swingle (CRECSW). Two plants of each variety were girdled on December 21, 2011 by stripping the bark and removing the phloem. Four plants were left as controls. First image of each sequence is dated December 14, 2011; Last image dated January 10, 2012. Each plant imaged twelve times. Images are in stereo.
